My little girl LOVES this toy. The baby and nursery set she received for her birthday are great, the hopper ball is wonderful - and neither can compare to her delight with this toy. She has loved rockets and launching things for a long time (long for a 4 year old) so this is a natural fit for her.
The fun value is awesome. The rockets are soft and can easily be launched indoors when it's too hot to play outside. We have a vaulted ceiling area and she has managed to hit the ceiling a couple of times. But like I said, the rockets are soft foam so they don't hurt the ceiling, the furniture, or anyone they hit.
The educational value is not bad for a simple toy. There's the obvious physical skill of stomping properly to launch the rocket. And there's the physics of compressed air if you want to explain how the rocket works. I don't know how much of that explanation my little girl understood but she had fun pumping extra air into the foot pump with a bicycle pump and she is certain the rockets go highter when she does. (They don't of course, but she thinks they do.)
The toy seems very durable. The rockets are sturdy but soft foam. The stand, tubing, and pump are well made. I expect her to get years of use out of this toy. At least until we upgrade to actual model rockets some day.
Overall, this is a wonderful toy for an active girl (or boy). Useful for getting in some physical fun when it's too hot, too wet, or too cold to play outside.

I bought this for my son to stimulate his interest in space.
He really loves it and we have a lot of fun with it. Definitely recommended.
Also - this is only for indoor use. Much too light for outdoor.

Very dissatisfied with this product. Poor quality and does not work most of the time. Would not recommend for purchase.

I bought this for my 3 year old twins and the LOVE LOVE LOVE this thing! As soon as they figured out how hard to stomp on the plunger, they started giggling and challenging each other to shoot it farther. It's simple and entertaining!

This toy is OK, but it does not shoot the rockets very high in the air at all. I don't think we ever got them higher than 10 feet (if even). My 3-year old wasn't impressed. I wasn't too thrilled about it either, so I bought the Ultra Stomp Rocket next, and we are thrilled with it. Not only does it shoot MUCH, much higer in the air (which I think makes it approriate, easy enough, and exciting enough for kids from 2 on up), but it comes with four rockets instead of two. The launcher can also be aimed in different directions to avoid, for example, rooftops or the neighbors fenced-in backyard. As a bonus, the Ultra Stomp Rocket even costs less!
